END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA)

1. Introduction
This End-User License Agreement (“Agreement”) is a legal agreement between MCOC Accountancy (“we”, “our”, “us”) and you (“User”).
This Agreement governs your use of the MCOC QuickBooks Integration App (“the App”), which facilitates secure data exchange between your QuickBooks Online account and our internal systems.
By using the App, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement.
If you do not agree, you should not use or continue to use the App.
2. Purpose of the App
The App is a private, internal-use tool designed solely to:
Retrieve accounting data from your QuickBooks Online company
Create, update, or sync financial records
Automate workflows for bookkeeping purposes
The App is not a public product, nor is it intended to be used by third parties outside our organization or our clients.
3. License Grant
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App solely for the purpose of integrating your QuickBooks Online account with our internal systems.
You may not:
Modify, sell, distribute, or sublicense the App
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Use the App for any unlawful purpose
4. Data Access and Usage
The App accesses certain QuickBooks data only with your explicit authorization through Intuit’s OAuth process.
We may access:
Customer information
Invoices and payments
Chart of accounts
Expenses and vendor records
Other financial data needed for bookkeeping workflows
We do not share, sell, or disclose your QuickBooks Online data to any third party except:
When required by law
When necessary to provide accounting services to you
Your data remains your property at all times.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational precautions to protect your data, including:
OAuth 2.0 secure connection
Encrypted storage of credentials
Access controls
Regular system monitoring
However, no system is completely secure. You acknowledge that you use the App at your own risk.
6. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
Maintain the security of your QuickBooks login credentials
Use the App only for lawful purposes
Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or security concerns
You are responsible for ensuring your QuickBooks account remains active and properly configured.
7. Service Availability
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”.
We do not guarantee:
Uninterrupted access
Error-free operation
Compatibility with all versions of QuickBooks Online
We may suspend or discontinue the App at any time for maintenance or operational reasons.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
The App is provided without warranties, express or implied.
We disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for purpose, and non-infringement.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for:
Loss of revenue, profits, or data
Indirect or consequential damages
Any issues caused by QuickBooks, Intuit services, or third-party platforms
Our total liability shall not exceed the fees (if any) paid for the use of the App.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time.
We may revoke your access if:
You breach this Agreement
Your QuickBooks connection is invalidated
The App is discontinued
Upon termination, all licenses granted to you will automatically expire.
11. Changes to This Agreement
We may update this Agreement periodically.
Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
